Global Design Week Network | Exploring Maison&Objet 2022

Maison&Objet 2022, one of the most important international exhibitions in the field of interior decoration, takes place from 24 to 28 March at Paris-Nord Villepinte. DesignPlus, as the gathering platform for Shanghai Design Week, was on the ground in Paris to compile.

SANDRIVER, the world-renowned artisan cashmere brand, was founded in 2012 by cashmere evangelist Ms Guo Xiuling in Shanghai. With pure lambswool from its own pasture in Alashan and its own base in Shanghai, each piece carries the sentiment of cashmere and the heart of an artisan but also gives a new change to the dressing experience and lifestyle.

The Sandriver Cashmere Home & Living Collection is a unique collection of cashmere products based on traditional Mongolian hand felting techniques. The handmade technique continues the 'zero-waste' creative philosophy, incorporating a contemporary lifestyle aesthetic while practising the essence of sustainable design.

Odile Moulin

Creating poetic and magical sculptures by mixing ceramics and mesh, the translucent wire mesh adds a primitive touch. Her favourite themes are movement and flight, with each primitive scene telling a story.

Objet de Curiosité

has a certain diversity and unusual taste. It takes a new style and brings it into the world of interior design, combining the beauty of nature with the aesthetics of an era. Dedicated to developing a wide range of accessories with strong cultural connotations, discovering beauty from the extraordinary things created by nature.

Natalie Sanzache

Sculptor of light, her concrete lamps awaken our imagination. Turning away from its traditional image, the artist instinctively mixes powders and pigments, playing on rough holes and imperfections to resonate with emotion in her designs.

Francois Delclaux

François Delclaux describes a renewed, creative traditionalism that goes far beyond its simple ethnic dimension, a trend that includes a new philosophy dominated by culture and heritage, placing 'terroir', artisans, local craftsmanship, tradition and materials at the heart of the production of objects.

Shanghai Design Week continues to link up with outstanding design weeks around the world, exploring issues of mutual concern and finding answers through the lens of design, building an international platform for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary exchanges of advanced design, and jointly building an international creative design community. Paris Design Week is a strategic partner of Shanghai Design Week's Global Design Week initiative, which is held in conjunction with Maison&Objet's annual autumn exhibition in September, and promotes Paris and Shanghai's joint efforts to create a new ecology for the design industry and create a better life.
